Third book in the Rift Trilogy 

Follows City of the Lost God and The Last Emperor.

Set around five hundred imperial years after The Last Emperor. The rifts have changed, mainly because of Mussaneth Osranetherer, Muzzie; being emperor. Most previous emperors had been brutal and greedy. Not that Muzzie doesn’t have his flaws, but the peoples of the rifts feel more at ease with themselves during his reign.

Some character we knew have passed on, some are long lived and are very little different to how they were five hundred years ago. There are new characters, even two humans from the planet Algaria. I hope you enjoy the tale.
